Forty hours of informational training, with hands-on volunteer experience at the Hospice Inpatient Unit, to support individuals and families through the physical, emotional, and spiritual realities of the end-of-life process. Learned to provide compassionate presence, symptom awareness and gentle guidance while honoring each person's dignity, autonomy, and unique journey. This foundation allows me, as a death doula, to hold steady, informed space, bridging clinical understanding with deep, heart-centered care.
